Our Favourite Testimonials This Year

Here at SpiritSmith we absolutely love getting feedback! Every review is read aloud to the team. Customer feedback is invaluable in allowing us to continuously improve. These short messages tell us what you like and what you absolutely love. We listen and adapt accordingly and here are a few of our favourite testimonials.

Who wouldn't want their recipients to scream with delight at the gift they'd chosen for them. In this case the recipient chose a personalised ciroc vodka hamper. We work hard to make our hampers as much of a 'wow' for your loved ones as we can. Research tells us that gifts are more memorable when they impress all your 5 senses. So that is what we try and achieve. Our gifts are all handcrafted with textures, scents, packaging which creates beautiful sounds and (our favourite) fairy lights to illuminate their favourite spirit. Marry all that with the taste of their favourite tipple and the personalised message and their name and you have a gift that will not only delight, but that will also stay in their minds for a long time.

Why are testimonials so important to small growing businesses?

Testimonials are important to small businesses because they provide social proof of the quality of their products or services. Potential customers are more likely to trust the opinions of people who have already purchased from us and used the product or service. Testimonials can help build credibility and trust with new customers, leading to increased sales and customer loyalty. Additionally, positive testimonials can be used for marketing purposes and can be shared on a business's website, social media pages, and other marketing materials, such as blogs ;).

Why Do People Leave Reviews?

People leave reviews for various reasons such as:

1. To share their experience: People leave reviews to share their experience with a particular product, service or business. They may want to praise or criticise the product or service based on their experience.

2. To help others: People leave reviews to help others make informed decisions. They may want to share their experience to help others decide whether or not to use a particular product or service.

3. To express their opinion: People leave reviews to express their opinion about a product or service. They may want to share their thoughts and feelings about a particular product or service.

4. To provide feedback: People leave reviews to provide feedback to businesses. They may want to give feedback on the quality of the product or service, customer service, or other aspects of the business.

5. To influence change: People leave reviews to influence change. They may want to bring attention to a problem they had with a product or service and hope that the business will make changes to improve.

Do Companies Read their Reviews?

Of course they do! And if they don't they are crazy! In e-commerce especially, it is sometimes the only contact you have with your customers. It would be short-sighted of any business not to use customer feedback to help them improve their business. We enjoy our favourite testimonials here at SpiritSmith and hope all other small business owners do too.

Pippa here at SpiritSmith is mad about reviews. 'I am personally obsessed with reviews, I read them, I reference them and we as a company improve because of them. It is outrageous to me that small business owners would not tap into their customers thoughts and feelings to better represent their own audience's wants and needs. Reviews are fundamental to us and without them we are lost at sea'
