Patron have ceased production to focus on their other flavours of tequila (e.g. Patron Silver & Patron Reposado). Cafe Patron is suffering a lack of global demand, however, the coffee flavoured tequila is well-loved in the UK and we love it here at SpiritSmith too.
Cafe Patron XO Tequila Coffee Liqueur Tasting Notes
The brand's coffee-flavoured variety bursts with freshly roasted coffee on the nose, with chocolate in support and small punches of pepper in background. The palate is decadent, thick and demanding from the offset, and introduces black espresso and bitter chocolate before caramel consumes the cocoa.
The Perfect Serve
This tequila is best enjoyed on the rocks, in a chilled shot glass or in cocktails.
